Wat Bowon Niwet


Wat Bowon Niwet considered the most important temples of Bangkok, not least because it was here a number of kings (including the current king of Thailand, King Bhumibol) was a time monkhood. Bowon Niwet Wat is a good place to go if you have time, but might not be as important as some of the main sites, if you have limited time.

Information: Access to the temple is free and is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Directions: The temple is Recently (Rattanakosin) area in Bangkok is Phra Shumen Road. If you want to go by taxi, the risk of central Bangkok will be 80-90 baht region.
